International Prize of Popular Theatre “Il Giogo”

Founded in the Savinese hamlet of Montagnano by the Cultural Association “Il Giogo”, has become over time a festival of popular theatre of international standing, recognized by the European institutions.

The competition is organized every year in July with the participation of companies from all over Italy.

From 2023 is also organized a small winter festival in the months of February-March at the Teatro San Prospero di Montagnano.
